Crazy Crazy Summer

It has been such a busy summer. I hate when I get the motivation to finally start journaling again, and then things get busy and it turns into an entry once every 3 months. I guess that's a little better than nothing. Well since our last post, there have been many new things in our lives.

Our summer was so busy, it was really fun though. I forgot what summer was like not being sick all the time. Millie absolutely loves this weather. She loves going on walks and just being outside. We went to Draper Days rodeo, parade, and festivities at the park with her. She loves being around people and honestly just people watching. I'm glad she is such a good baby. She gives Wilson and I a lot of flexibility. She does really well when we have to go off schedule as well.

Just a silly little Millie bug. We sure love her.

Wilson started school again. His class schedule is really difficult at times. Not only for us, but for him as well. He goes to campus on Monday and Wednesday nights and for a couple hours on Saturday mornings. He also has math tests every other Friday. I think mid-terms are coming up soon, so at least we will be half way done with this schedule. But then we will start a new one! He is doing really well with the giant load that he is carrying. I'm so proud of him.

Millie now has four teeth! She is almost 8 months old and I think we will be expecting a few more in the next month of so. She is as active as it gets. I think she could crawl if she wanted to but I think she feels more mobile on her belly. She sort of flings her legs and moves on her elbows. All the momentum comes from flinging her legs.

I love.. a sleeping Millie

Since I have last written she has turned 5 and 6 months old. I haven't gotten her 7 month old picture up yet.

We are starting to want to work more on the house. We are trying to make plans for our basement. We want to redo it and eventually have Millie's room down there. We plan on being in this house till Wilson is done with school. We love the idea of being able to move into Simon's house when they leave on a mission, but that is all up in the air. It is still pretty far away.

Right now we are primary teachers to the 10 and 11 year olds. It's a great age, but at the same time it's really hard because they act up and can be very disruptive. It is fun though because we get to be together during the whole three hours of church. It's great.

We recently went on a trip to Arizona to visit Lexe. It was so much fun. Millie did great and absolutely loved every minute of it. She is still trying to catch up on sleep. Lexe just tore her ACL so we didn't get to see her play but it was really cool to see Tucson and where she lived. The campus is really pretty. We loved our trip down there.

We also were able to visit Rachelle and Jenny over the summer. Rachelle left on her mission to Bolivia. I think she is doing well, I need to write her! Jenny just moved down to Provo, we really hope we can spend a lot of time with her. It was so great to see friends again. Seeing them made me realize how much I missed them!

All in all things are going well.
