Thrush..

Poor Millie has been battling thrush for the past two months. It's killer and is really hard to get rid of. We have tried two rounds of nystatin and that did nothing. I had been told that the next thing to try is Gentian Violet. I have heard how bad it stains and that it basically ruins anything it touches. It dyes spit up purple, drool purple, and all in between. It's bad. I watched the thrush for a couple more weeks and finally decided to try it. We picked out a designated onsie and towel and she used it the whole time. Her poor mouth was just soooo purple, it was kind of scary. I tried to put coconut oil on her cheeks so that it wouldn't stain so bad.

We all hate it.

She has a purple mouth here too but we couldn't resist taking a picture of that cute bum and her cute little pose. Maybe she will be a dancer:)

Tubby time just after getting the medicine. I gave it to her for 4 days each night. After initially giving it to her it wasn't that bad. Once it soaked in it hardly stained much, it was just a light purple when she drooled or spit up.

Planking with daddy!

This last weekend we did a lot of work in the yard. We got a lot done, we hauled all the rocks out of the space under the apple tree and also planted grass seed in the back by the shed. Wilson worked really hard on the sprinklers. I'm glad I married a handy man. Working in the yard makes me really happy because we have done so much to this house. Everything is looking so much better. I love this little house so much. My next big projects are to work on the basement, and organize the garage. I'm so scared of spiders i'm nervous to do it on my own. I want to start sewing with the new machine that Bob and Dayna gave me. I need to make the basement comfortable though.

The last few weeks of May have been completely rainy. Like three weeks of straight rain. The yard has flooded quite a bit, but I think it helped our plants and grass a ton. Our vegetables are struggling a bit. We have a smart robin who keeps eating all the seeds. We put an owl up, a net, and she still gets in. I found a nest up in the apple tree so she must have her eye on that vege patch. Hopefully we at least get a couple tomatoes and zucchini.

Wilson is busy with work and school, and Millie and I hang out all day and try to get stuff done around the house. Lately, Millie hasn't let me put her down at all so I haven't been able to get anything done. Oh well, these days will be gone before I know it and she will be so fidgety she won't let me pick her up.
We go on lots of walks and just play.

I LOVE MY LITTLE FAMILY!
