We had been anticipating this day for a very long time. Even before Millie or even Margo was born people in the family were calling blessing dates. We decided to go with May so Lexe could be here. It was a wonderful day full of happiness, family, the Spirit, stress, and love. Wilson gave an amazing blessing. Robbie, Mike, Bob, my dad, Uncle Doug, and Jim were in the circle. He blessed her with happiness and holiness. It was so beautiful. I guess she was pretty squirmy the whole time and gave Wilson some trouble. It was a little hard to hear the blessing because there were so many kids around but hopefully some aspects of the recording can be heard.

Millie wore the dress that I was blessed in. We had to get it altered just a little bit so that the sleeves would fit her. She looked so cute. It was all ruffly and the whole day she was just sticking parts of the dress in her mouth. She was just a little doll. I'm so grateful that Wilson was able to bless her.

Such a little cutie
This is the best picture I could find. Millie and Wilson were not cooperating.
The only thing that was stressful was getting our house ready for about 40 people. It was chaos. It had been raining that whole week/weekend and we were afraid that people wouldn't be able to go outside. Luckily, the weather broke and we were able to fit people out there for awhile. Right when everyone left, it started raining again. I'm so glad and grateful for all the people that came to support us. I wanted to make a list so that we could remember.
